EVENT SKIN PREP TIPS

SKIN: 
A great way to prepare for your appointment is to come with a clean canvas. Please wash and exfoliate your face before your appointment. If SPF is preferred, please use a low SPF as this may interfere with flash photography. I will provide facial moisturizer. Please inform me of any allergies or sensitivities you have toward any particular products, so that I may avoid them during your session.

FACIAL GROOMING: 
Please groom eyebrows (Threading/waxing) and lip area BEFORE your appt! This will ensure flawless makeup application.

 

NO SPRAY TAN ON THE FACE: 
Competitors: Please do not tan your face! Only up to your neck. Spray tan on the face can dry out your skin and cause dry patches, which would result in makeup blotching in those areas.

PEACE OF MIND TOUCH-UP BAG:
Please bring a makeup bag with you to the show, for peace of mind. Here are a few important items. Your makeup will stay as long as you don’t touch it, but these items help with excess oil from sweating backstage and lipstick, which wears off.

TOUCH-UP BAG SUGGESTIONS:

• Lipstick and gloss

• Lip liner

• HD Blotting powder & Powder brush (blot, lightly dust on, do not rub)

• Blotting papers (press on face to absorb excess oil, do not rub)
